Band Gathering Tralee
Calling All Pipers & Drummers
In association with Feile na mBlath, it is proposed to run a Band Gathering in Tralee Town Park on the afternoon of Saturday 29thJune.
This get together of bands will highlight Band Performances and should be a fun music and social event for all.
The performances in the park will run from 1.30 pm until 4.00 pm.
Bands will play at pre-designated times throughout the afternoon and the public can also get involved and try their hand with band instruments.
The ‘massed band’ parade will commence at the Ashe Memorial Hall at 4.15 pm and will proceed to the Mall which will complete the day’s events. The parade route is short approx. 250m in length.
We are asking any piper and drummer who wishes to participate to come along and join in a massed band ensemble that will play in the park and thereafter in the parade. Feel free to pass this information to anyone whom you may think is interested.
