Leinster Pipe Band Championships
On Saturday 11th May 2024 the Leinster Pipe Band Championships, incorporating the Leinster Drum Majors Championships, will be staged in the grounds of Newbridge House Demesne, Donabate, Co Dublin. K36VR90
The Championships are organised by the Leinster Branch IPBA and held under the auspices of Cumann Buidhean Píobaire na hÉireann, the Irish Pipe Band Association.
The event is the only pipe band contest in the Republic of Ireland, not-with-standing the All-Ireland Pipe Band Championships (biennial), to host a competitive Grade 1 section.
Bands commence competing at 11.00 hrs.
Closing Date for Entries is Friday 3rd May.
NOTE revised syllabus: The Leinster Championship syllabus will mirror that of the UK Championships in Bangor except for the fact that there will be an additional MSR competition for Grade 1 bands as well as a medley competition.
