Massed Pipe Band at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann
The massed band is open to all pipers, drummers, and drum majors.
There will be massed band parade along the Quays in Wexford finishing at the Fleadh Gig Rig where President Michael D.Higgins will perform the opening ceremony. The parade will be lead by Senior Drum Major Louis Anderson of the New Ross & District Pipe Band.
The massed band will perform a number of tunes at the gig rig.
Drum tippings will be stock 4/4 and 3/4 tippings and links to all tunes , drum scores and sound files will be included on this event page.
We have been asked to specifically include a number of Wexford tunes in the massed band repertoire this year.
